Bay I is a versatile shooting area suitable for training at short and medium distances. Thanks to its length, it allows a combination of pistol and rifle work, shooting at varied distances, and smooth transitions between targets. It is ideal both for individual training and for training smaller groups focused on technique, accuracy, and fire control.

- Direction of fire: primarily towards the front backstop; under defined conditions, lateral shooting within a sector of up to 180° is also permitted (organization of fire in accordance with the operating regulations)
- Shooting positions: standing, kneeling, prone, seated, turning to target, and on the move
- Tactical capabilities: open-area shooting (dynamic firing line), intensive use of cover, rapid positional changes, short-distance training, and complex dynamic scenarios
- Vehicles: possibility to conduct shooting from and around vehicles in accordance with the operating regulations and the specific training setup
- Night shooting: under defined conditions, the use of weapon lights, suppressors, and night vision devices (including NVGs) is permitted
